Barabanki: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak Defends SIR Initiative, Holds Review Meeting with BJP Cadre
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak visited Barabanki, held a press conference on the SIR (Systematic Information Review) initiative, and led a review meeting with BJP leaders and workers. He asserted that SIR is enhancing transparency and causing discomfort to opposition parties while directing officials to strengthen its implementation.
Pathak underscored that SIR has become a crucial tool for monitoring public grievances, tracking field-level progress, and ensuring that developmental commitments are followed through with measurable outcomes. According to him, the opposition’s discomfort stems from the fact that structured data review exposes inefficiencies and dispels misinformation.
Following the press conference, the Deputy Chief Minister chaired a comprehensive review meeting with elected representatives and party workers. The discussion centered on strengthening the SIR framework at the grassroots level and improving coordination among local units. Pathak, who attended the programme as the chief guest, instructed party members to enhance outreach efforts and implement the initiative with greater discipline to ensure that citizens’ concerns are addressed promptly and transparently.
Concluding his visit, Pathak emphasised that SIR is not merely an administrative tool but a public-centric mechanism aimed at refining governance delivery. He said that sustained cooperation between government officials, representatives, and party workers would be essential in extending its impact across the district.
